The MISSIONDEX™ provides specific ideas to help the congregation to reach its community for Christ. For each of the major lifestyle segments the report lists: (1) cultural bridges that could be used to build relationships, (2) cultural barriers that may inhibit the group’s understanding or acceptance of Christ, (3) themes or topics that could be used to more effectively present the gospel, (4) places where you could meet them, (5) possible projects you could use as a means of developing relationships, (6) possible enterprises that could be started that would enable Christians to build relationships with the group, and (7) specific issues from their culture that may impact an indigenous congregation.
Primary Missional Role Using this Report
Apostolic gifted believers seek to develop venues in which they and other believers may build relationships with non-believers. The MISSIONDEX report provides an understanding of the cultural bridges, barriers and themes that arise from the cultures of specific groups of people within the community. Shared places and projects along with media information enable apostolic believers to better understand how to create naturally-occurring opportunities for building relationships with unreached peoples.

Report Worksheets
The worksheets provide a process to discover specific ways in which the participants can lead their churches to penetrate lostness within the social networks of their community target groups.
Report Training
Training in Contextual Evangelization Methods is included in the iFOCUS Basic Training process. After dealing with the biblical and missiological foundations, the participants begin to identify the cultural bridges to use, the cultural barriers to anticipate, and the cultural themes that arise from within the community cultural groups that they can use to explain the gospel. They also discover where to “hang out” with their target group, when they should hang out, and how to get involved in the community with their target group. Knowing what media their target group uses and when they use it enables the participants to communicate more effectively.
